Supplied as a soluble, dialyzed, lyophilized powder, with ~39% salts. We recommend using 10mM HEPES buffered saline, pH 8.5, 0.1mM Ca++ for reconstitution and diluting. For preserving solutions at 4ºC, 0.08% sodium azide should be used.

Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile 10mM HEPES buffered saline, pH 8.5, 0.1mM Ca++. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
