-20°CCD11b is also known as CD11b/CD18, Mac-1, alphaMbeta2 integrin, Cr3, MO-1, C3bi Receptor). CD11b is a marcophage-granulocyte specific antigen. Mac-1 macrophage differentiation antigen is associated with type three complement receptor and mediates adhesion to CD54 (ICAM-1). CD11b antigen is present on macrophages, granulocytes, natural killer cells, blood monocytes. CD11b is expressed on 8% spleen cells, 44% bone marrow cells and <1% of thymocytes.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Excitation:
490nm
Emission:
520nm
Hybridoma:
NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
