CD1w2 (FITC)

CD1w2 cell surface antigen, a glycoprotein heterodimer of 12kD and 46kD. CD1w2 is expressed by cortical thymocytes and a minority of medullary thymocytes, with a pattern similar to antibodies of the CD1b cluster in humans.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Oher applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:50. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.

Storage and Stability:
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
