-20°CNucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability. DNA accessibility is regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications of histones, also called histone code, and nucleosome remodeling. Histone H1 is located in the nuclear and is necessary for the condensation of nucleosome chains into higher order structures. Histone H1 produces a speckled staining pattern in the nucleus of normal and malignant cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary Antibodies:
I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo
I1904-06H IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo
Positive Control:
Jurkat cell lysate
Storage and Stability:
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
