The mRNA Magnetic Purification Kit is designed for isolating and purifying mRNA from total RNA or in vitro transcription systems. It utilizes specially designed monodisperse superparamagnetic beads covalently coupled with oligo(dT) sequences on their surface. The high-purity mRNA separation is achieved through base-pairing between the oligo(dT) sequences and the poly(A) tail of mRNA. The kit features simple and rapid operation. The purified mRNA can either use the bound oligo(dT) sequences directly as primers for first-strand cDNA synthesis or be eluted from beads for diverse downstream molecular applications, including RT-PCR, RPA (ribonuclease protection assays), library preparation, Northern blot analyses, next-generation sequencing, etc.
