Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NPGDE)

Neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether (NPGDE) is a reactive epoxy that has high water permeability. It can be used for sealing, coating, and impregnating applications. NPGDE reacts with amines to form cationic polymerization. This reaction requires the presence of a catalyst such as boron nitride or aluminum oxide. The high reactivity of NPGDE makes it an excellent sealant in high-value applications, such as semiconductor equipment and electronic devices.
