Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman, Mouse, Rat, Cow, Dog, Horse, Pig, Rabbit
Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationBiotin
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal region of human PEG3

Description of TargetPEG3 induces apoptosis in cooperation with SIAH1A and acts as a mediator between TP53/p53 and BAX in a neuronal death pathway that is activated by DNA damage. PEG3 acts synergistically with TRAF2 and inhibits TNF induced apoptosis through activation of NF-kappa-B. PEG3 also possesses a tumor suppressing activity in glioma cells.
