cTnI elisa kit
Species Reactivity
Rat
Assay Type
Quantitative Competitive
Samples
Serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate

0.1 ng/ml
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of cTnI. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between cTnI and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between cTnI and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C.
Molecular Weight
24,008 Da
Sample Preparation
We suggest pre-experimenting with neat (undiluted) samples, 1:2 or 1:4 dilutions. Please avoid diluting your samples more than 1:10 as it would exceed the dilution limit set for this kit. If the expected concentration of the target is beyond the detection range of the kit, please contact our technical support team
Product Categories/Family for cTnI elisa kit
ISO Certification
Manufactured in an ISO 13485:2016 Certified Laboratory.
Other Notes
Small volumes of cTnI elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS727624 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Cardiac Troponin I (cTnI) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing cTnI. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS727624 kit is based on cTnI antibody-cTnI antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect cTnI antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, cTnI. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for cTnI
Troponin I (TnI), along with troponin T (TnT) and troponin C (TnC), is one of 3 subunits that form the troponin complex of the thin filaments of striated muscle. TnI is the inhibitory subunit; blocking actin-myosin interactions and thereby mediating striated muscle relaxation. The TnI subfamily contains three genes: TnI-skeletal-fast-twitch, TnI-skeletal-slow-twitch, and TnI-cardiac. This gene encodes the TnI-cardiac protein and is exclusively expressed in cardiac muscle tissues. Mutations in this gene cause familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy type 7 (CMH7) and familial restrictive cardiomyopathy (RCM). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

TNNI3: Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity. Binds to actin and tropomyosin. Interacts with TRIM63. Interacts with STK4/MST1. Belongs to the troponin I family.
