PE conjugated anti-cat primary antibodies are fluorescent antibodies designed to detect feline antigens directly in biological samples. They combine cat-specific antigen recognition with phycoerythrin, a bright fluorophore that is especially useful in flow cytometry and fluorescence-based assays. This direct labeling format simplifies experimental workflows by eliminating the need for a secondary antibody.

Phycoerythrin Fluorescence Properties

Phycoerythrin is one of the brightest commonly used fluorophores, with strong excitation and intense emission that make it highly effective for detecting low-abundance targets. It is especially useful in multicolor experiments where a strong signal is needed in a well-defined fluorescence channel. Because of its brightness, PE is often chosen when sensitivity is a priority.

Antibody Specificity and Labeling
