CD25 (IL-2R Alpha Chain, IL-2Ra) (APC)

CD25, the chicken IL-2 Receptor alpha chain (IL-2Ra) which has been identified as the chicken homologue of human CD25 and is cited as ChCD25 in published literature. Chicken IL-2Ra is a cell surface expressed by activated T-lymphocytes, monocytes/macrophages and thrombocytes.
Studies have demonstrated that CD4+ve/CD25+ve and CD8+ve/CD25+ve cells are up- regulated following infection with avian influenza virus (H9N2) and may therefore have an important role in the immune response to avian influenza virus infection .
Chicken IL-2Ra is the low affinity receptor for Interleukin-2.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 AG14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
Store product at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
