| Reconstitution and Storage | All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding. |

| Gene Symbol | IMPDH2 |
| Gene Full Name | IMP (inosine 5'-monophosphate) dehydrogenase 2 |
| Alias Symbols | IMPD2, IMPDH-II |
| NCBI Gene Id | 3615 |
| Protein Name | Inosine-5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase 2 |
| Description of Target | IMPDH2 is the rate-limiting enzyme in the de novo guanine nucleotide biosynthesis. It is thus involved in maintaining cellular guanine deoxy- and ribonucleotide pools needed for DNA and RNA synthesis. It catalyzes the NAD-dependent oxidation of inosine-5'-monophosphate into xanthine-5'-monophosphate, which is then converted into guanosine-5'-monophosphate. IMPDH2 is up-regulated in some neoplasms, suggesting it may play a role in malignant transformation. This gene encodes the rate-limiting enzyme in the de novo guanine nucleotide biosynthesis.
