Description

Kisspeptin-10 (Kp-10) corresponds to aa112-121 of KISS1 (aa45-54 of Metastatin). Kisspeptin increases plasma concentration of growth hormone and luteinizing hormone in prepubertal dairy heifers. The decapeptide is a potent endogenous ligand for the Kisspeptin receptor GPR54 that down-regulates CXCR4 role in programming tumor metastasis. It also inhibits signaling and chemotaxis induced by SDF-1.
