| Additional Information | Description: NK1.1, a member of the NKR-P1 family of cell surface receptors, is a type II integral membrane glycoprotein with a C-type lectin domain. It is expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer on all NK cells as well as subsets of thymocytes and peripheral T lymphocytes in selected strains of mice (e.g., C57BL/6, NZB, and CE). NK1.1 mediates cellular activation and differentiation, and is thought to have a particular role in generating Th2 cells. This product does not react with NK cells of BALB/c mice. |
| Reconstitution and Storage | Store at -20C |
| Immunogen | CE mouse spleen enriched for NK-1+ cells and bone marrow cells |
| Concentration | 0.5 mg/mL |
| Specificity | NK1.1 |
| Characterization | To ensure lot- to- lot consistency, each batch of monoclonal antibody is tested by flow cytometry to conformto characteristics of a standard reference reagent. Representative data are included in this product insert. |
| Warning | Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash withcopious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yieldstoxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide- containing compounds in running water beforediscarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing. |

| Other Applications Data | Since applications vary, you should determine the optimum workingdilution of the product that is appropriate for your specific need. |
| Other Applications Image 1 Data | Amount Used: 0.5 ug/106 cells Splenocytes from a C57BL/6 mouse were double stained with mouse anti-mouse NK1.1-PE and rat anti-mouse CD49b/pan NK-FITC (clone DX5). Small lymphocytes were then gated and analyzed by flow cytometry. |
