| Predicted Species Reactivity | Human, Mouse, Rat, Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Rabbit, Zebrafish |
|---|---|
| Product Format | Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer. |
| Clonality | Polyclonal |
| Host | Rabbit |
| Conjugation | Biotin |
| Application | IHC, WB |
| Reconstitution and Storage | All conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding. |

| Gene Symbol | ANXA1 |
|---|---|
| Gene Full Name | Annexin A1 |
| Alias Symbols | ANX1, LPC1 |
| NCBI Gene Id | 301 |
| Protein Name | Annexin A1 |
| Description of Target | Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca(2+)-dependent phospholipid binding proteins which have a molecular weight of approximately 35,000 to 40,000 and are preferentially located on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. Annexin I protein has an apparent relative molecular mass of 40 kDa, with phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. Since phospholipase A2 is required for the biosynthesis of the potent mediators of inflammation, prostaglandins and leukotrienes, annexin I may have potential anti-inflammatory activity. |
