-20°CPeroxiredoxin 6 is a member of the thiol-specific antioxidant protein family. This protein is a bifunctional enzyme with two distinct active sites. It is involved in redox regulation of the cell. it can reduce H(2)O(2) and short chain organic, fatty acid, and phospholipid hydroperoxides. It may play a role in the regulation of phospholipid turnover as well as in protection against oxidative injury.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
