LymphoSign: A Molecular Approach to NHL Classification

Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) represent a diverse group of lymphoid malignancies characterized by considerable morphological, immunophenotypic, and molecular heterogeneity. Their classification encompasses numerous distinct subtypes and, particularly in diagnostically challenging cases, requires the integration of histopathological examination, immunohistochemistry, and molecular analyses to ensure accurate diagnosis.

LymphoSign is a CE-IVD molecular assay developed to support the classification of B- and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas.

 Key Features

Molecular approach for complex NHL classification

LymphoSign analyzes the expression of over 130 relevant genes and genetic markers (Table 1). The resulting FASTQ files are processed by the RT-MIS platform, which compares each expression profile with a database of more than 3,000 clinical cases.

 Designed for diagnostic laboratory workflows

The LymphoSign workflow uses standard laboratory techniques and requires approximately half a day of hands-on work. Compatible with FFPE samples and low RNA input, the assay can be performed on Illumina MiSeq or NextSeq 500/550 platforms. The kit includes RT-MLPA probes, barcodes, sequencing primers and access to the RT-MIS bioinformatics platform.

Comprehensive RT-MIS report

The RT-MIS platform generates an interpretation report that may include B/T-cell origin, cell-of-origin prediction, classification, grade-related information, additional molecular features, expression comparisons and access to raw data.
