BCA Protein Assay Kit (Low Concentrations) is a highly sensitive colorimetric method commonly used for protein quantification. It relies on two main reactions: first, proteins reduce Cu²⁺ to Cu¹⁺ in an alkaline environment; second, BCA chelates with Cu¹⁺ to form a water-soluble complex that exhibits strong absorbance at 562 nm.
