Description

Cy 5 amine (Cyanine5 amine) TFA is a fluorescent dye. Cy 5 amine TFA can be used in the preparation of Cy5.5-labeled compound or polymers, which can be used for imaging cellular process and trafficking[1].

In Vitro

Cy5-amine TFA (0.1 mg/mL; 24 h protected from light) efficiently conjugates to activated Chondroitin sulfate (HY-B2162) to form fluorescently labeled Cy5-CS[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Cy5 amine TFA (Cy5-CS) (40 μg/kg; p.o.; single dose) results in significantly higher and longer-lasting whole-body fluorescence, extended intestinal retention with enhanced jejunal accumulation, and greater hepatic accumulation compared to free Cy5-amine in healthy male C57BL/6 mice[1].
