Herpes Simplex Virus 2 SERION ELISA antigen

Herpes Simplex Virus 1 and 2 (HSV1 and HSV2), also known as Human Herpesvirus 1 and 2 (HHV1 and HHV2), are two members of the Herpesvirus family that infect humans. Typical diseases related to these two viruses are herpes simplex (HSV1) or genital herpes (HSV2) and Herpes Viruses are part of the ToRCH screening panel, especially during pregnancy.

100 mM glycine buffer, pH 9.5.

For the native antigens, Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (strain G) is cultivated in Vero cells and virus purification is performed by a twostep ultracentrifugation. The antigens consists of virus particles and virus components and are suitable for the detection of IgG, IgM and IgA antibodies.

Store at 65°C or lower. Avoid repeated freezethaw cycles. Sonicate before use. 10 years from date of manufacture (under recommended storage conditions).
