MBS9326285 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the ATP-binding cassette, sub-family C (CFTR/MRP), member 4 (ABCC4) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing ABCC4. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9326285 kit is based on ABCC4 antibody-ABCC4 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ABCC4 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ABCC4. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for ABCC4
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined; however, this protein may play a role in cellular detoxification as a pump for its substrate, organic anions. Alternative splicing results in multiple splice variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
