Additional InformationDescription: Ly-6G/Ly-6C, formerly known as the myeloid differentiation antigen Gr-1, is a GPI-anchored protein. In the bone marrow, the level of antigen expression is directly correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. It is also transiently expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow. In the periphery, Ly-6G/Ly-6C is expressed predominantly on neutrophils.
Reconstitution and StorageStore at 2-8C
Concentration0.1 mg/mL
SpecificityLy-6G/Ly-6C
CharacterizationTo ensure lot- to- lot consistency, each batch of product is tested by flow cytometry to conform tocharacteristics of a standard reference reagent. Representative flow data are included in this productinsert.
WarningReagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact withskin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, washwith copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azideyields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide- containing compounds in running waterbefore discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.

Other Applications DataSince applications vary, you should determine the optimum working dilution ofthe product that is appropriate for your specific need.
Other Applications Image 1 Data Amount Used: 1 Ug/106 cells BALB/c bone marrow cells were stained with either rat IgG2b-FITC (as an isotype control) or rat antimouse Ly-6G-FITC. Large cells were then gated and analyzed on a FACScan flow cytometer (BDIS, San Jose, CA).
