Product Info
Predicted Species ReactivityHuman, Mouse, Rat, Cow, Dog, Horse, Pig, Rabbit, Zebrafish
Product FormatLiquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer.
ClonalityPolyclonal
HostRabbit
ConjugationBiotin
ApplicationWB
Reconstitution and StorageAll conjugated antibodies should be stored in light-protected vials or covered with a light protecting material (i.e. aluminum foil). Conjugated antibodies are stable for at least 12 months at 4C. If longer storage is desired (24 months), conjugates may be diluted with up to 50% glycerol and stored at -20C to -80C. Freezing and thawing conjugated antibodies will compromise enzyme activity as well as antibody binding.
ImmunogenThe immunogen is a synthetic peptide directed towards the C-terminal region of human PDGFC
PurificationAffinity Purified

Gene SymbolPDGFC
Gene Full Nameplatelet derived growth factor C
Alias SymbolsSCDGF, FALLOTEIN
NCBI Gene Id56034
Protein Nameplatelet-derived growth factor C
Description of TargetThe protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor family. The four members of this family are mitogenic factors for cells of mesenchymal origin and are characterized by a core motif of eight cysteines. This gene product appears to form only homodimers. It differs from the platelet-derived growth factor alpha and beta polypeptides in having an unusual N-terminal domain, the CUB domain. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
