From Bench to Leadership - A workshop for young PIs in biology

The 2^nd Young Investigators Workshop titled “From Bench to Leadership” is a professional development event organized by the Young Investigator group of the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM). Scheduled for 13–16 April 2026, this workshop is designed to support early-career principal investigators and senior postdocs in developing leadership, management, and team building skills essential for running a research group.

Workshop Programme

Arrival Day – Monday, 13 April: Registration and welcome reception with networking
Workshop Days – Tuesday & Wednesday, 14–15 April:
